    Only in Australia

Alright, sorry this has nothing to do with fantasy football, but it’s still sort of sports related. I was watching SportsCenter right now and saw a quick snippet of a video with a kangaroo on a race track, so I had to find it for you. While it’s not quite the same as Ocho Cinco racing a horse, it’s still pretty insane.

    I might be psychic

I’m feeling pretty good about my "shockers post" at the moment. A quick recap of what the five guys I thought would break out with big games did:

    • Anthony Gonzalez: I couldn’t have put it better myself… than what myself… said. Wait, what? Anyway, I said this: "Beware the player Peyton Manning seems to be ignoring." 7 receptions (tied for most on the team), 71 yards (most on the team). In other words, he was Peyton’s top receiver.
    • Devery Henderson: 101 yards, and almost a touchdown – it was ruled a TD originally, but a Carolina challenge put him out of bounds at the 2. This was on a 50+ yard reception. Can you say "big-play capability?" If not, get to a hospital, something is very wrong with your larynx.
    • Gus Frerotte: Even with the 3 INTs, 291 yards and 3 TDs is a nice fantasy day in most scoring formats. Not that any of you listened to me and started him. For shame.
    • Demetrius Williams: You can’t win ’em all.
    • Lee Evans: We’ll see tonight.

If Evans blows up, it’s a win-win situation for you. Your status as a psychic will be elevated AND you will probably beat me this week. Obviously I’m praying that you’re just an ordinary guy who can’t predict the future (but got lucky on a few guys).

I would temper your enthusiasm on Gonzales & Henderson. While both were serviceable in deep leagues, neither were starters on fantasy winners this week.

That said this is a very good list – and I suspect Evans will have a big week, or least one long TD. Dallas should romp but Evans is due and Trent Edwards has the arm to make it happen. Go Stanford Cardinal!

I have an enthusiasm that refuses to be tempered. Go Evans.

Not bad, however you would have indisputably been psychic had you picked Buffalo’s defense as a surprise play this week

    Greg Olsen: It's confirmed, he's a red-zone target

I’ve been starting him since week 3, and to be honest, this was the do-or-die week before I gave up until further notice. Forget about that now. I’d like to see more than 4 catches, but 57 yards is A-OK for a non-Gates TE, and I’m pretty confident we’ll be seeing plenty more of Olsen in the end zone.
