Week 6 Defenses to Consider
Here’s a quick list of teams that are playing some of the lesser offenses in the league this week and who could be available in your league in case you were looking for a plug-in (with the percent owned in parenthesis):
- Green Bay (74%) vs Detroit
- New England (59%) vs Tennessee
- Carolina (34%) @ Tampa Bay
- Washington (33%) vs Kansas City
- Jacksonville (21%) vs St. Louis
- Tampa Bay (14%) vs Carolina
- Kansas City (1%) @ Washington

Carolina and Jacksonville are my options, which should I go for first? When I watched the Bills v TB, Leftwich just never took a sack, kept throwing the ball away to avoid them which was annoying.

Go with Jacksonville…the Rams are terrible.

OK folks – need some perspective. Can a guy “loan out” a player to his buddy? A guy traded Ahmad Bradshaw for LT – who had a bye – then traded back today. Is this fair / ethical? Sorry to change subject.

that’s not really legit. I wonder if the commissioner has a transaction history when it comes to objected trade backs.

Guys in the league think its OK……if it were for money I’d be furious. But not how we are supossed to play, agree?

This is some pretty shady business and if you were in a league for money, I hope the league would vote against the back half of the trade (where they trade the guys back), assuming you have league voting setup on trades.

we have veto power in our league — the trade takes 24 hours to process — if in that 24 hours 3 teams veto the trade then it gets canceled — that would probably solve your issue

Re: Defense – I’m hoping to snag the Panthers v. TB given Johnson’s love for throwing INTs.
Re: Trade – that’s ridiculous, especially since the Chargers were on a BYE. That trade should never have been approved… not sure how your league works (i.e. if the other owners have a say to keep things honest).

Owners didn’t know the intention to trade back at the time. But Thanks – Really!

listen, i just traded LT for santana moss because i was soooo upset that LT was kickin on the bench the whole year, How much will i regret this? I have Marshawn Lynch, Steven Jackson, Cadiliac Williams, and Mike bell at the running back spot

haha it all depends on the week — I personally think LT will get the ball a lot the second half of the season so if he can stay healthy he should put up some decent fantasy points — santana moss on the other hand never has in between games — he will either have a great fantasy game for you or put up a goose egg — haha just hope Santana comes through when you need him

The Chargers have been running the ball terribly this year and I’m not sure it’s going to improve a whole lot, even when/if LT is healthy. Although he’s probably a better option than all but S-Jax on your roster, the addition of Moss should help you enough to make up for it (unless you have better wide receivers and won’t start him consistently anyways.)
