    So yeah, that worked out.

Brady came closer to the ceiling I estimated than Vick did to his, but I’m still pretty happy with how things went – especially since I’m likely to win this matchup by 10-15 (the only player still active in this matchup is Addai and I only needed 5 points out of him to win, which he’s already surpassed).

It seems likely that Andy Reid will restore Kevin Kolb to the starting role anyway, but I’m holding onto Vick in both of the leagues I picked him up. The one pictured below is my keeper league, and Vick is suddenly a very intriguing keeper. In redraft leagues, Vick’s value will depend on how Kolb plays – if he comes out firing and is able to keep the quarterback controversy to a low murmur, we may have to forget about Vick in 2010. Somehow, I doubt it’ll play out that way. In any case, one thing’s clear – he’ll be a starter somewhere in 2011 for sure.

It was a sad day for Patriots fans yesterday and those three turnovers of Brady’s didn’t help 🙁

I’ve never yelled at my TV as much.

My only money league team has Foster, Best, Wayne, and White on it so I’ve had little to worry about with my QB decisions (should have player McNabb instead of Eli this week). I played the guy with Vick this week and beat him by 50 points in PPR lol.

Problem is that waiver priority is decided by rank and I’m way out in first meaning I have little chance of improving my team.

In case you were curious, I just benched Hakeem Nicks in a league. I’m a bit worried about his questionable status and I have no other options after 4:15 if he’s a last minute scratch. I replaced him with Legedu Naanee, so hopefully I don’t lose too much, but it’s something you might consider if you’re not the risk taker!

So…. is it totally crazy today to start Brandon Jackson instead of Arian Foster? I was thinking the Pack would be up early vs the Bill’s marshmallow defense, and the second half would be run, run, run……. and I can’t believe the ‘Skins will let Foster run all over them. I made the mistake last week of playing too conservative and benching Foster (idiotic..) at the last minute, got lucky and won anyway, but don’t want to feel like an idiot two weeks in a row.

Still liking Foster more than Jackson this week, but not by much. If you’re up for a little more risk, you might go with B-Jax, who could have a higher ceiling based on his pass catching skills. Both are solid plays though. Good luck!

Benching Foster after last week’s performance would be insanity, especially given the fact that Jackson hasn’t proven anything in his career yet.

So I played Foster, but now I suppose I need to start thinking twice about leaving Jahvid Best on my bench…..unreal.

Best has 4 touchdowns on just 98 yards rushing!!! He seems pretty solid in the passing game though, with 14 receptions and 170 yards in just two games. He’s a monster in PPR leagues and I guess you have to start him, as long as you don’t care about his rushing yard totals 🙂 I wish I had him…

I’m in a NFL.com standard league (no PPR, no flex slot, teams have to start 2 RBs and 3 WRs) and I had the very good problem of trying to figure out who to start at RB between Frank Gore, Arian Foster, Jahvid Best, and DeAngelo Williams… I went with Gore and Foster, and it was tough to see Best blow up on my bench.

The trickier position for me is WR – I have Randy Moss, Calvin Johnson, Percy Harvin, Santana Moss, and Dwayne Bowe. Not really happy with their output thus far but not 100% ready to pull the trigger on trading/dropping any of them, either.

Most of the way through the game last night I thought I made the right move by benching Nicks, but in the end it was the wrong move. Lame. Hopefully he’s fine next week and I won’t have to worry about it…
