Did it take anyone else more than a few seconds to realize that the guy on the main Yahoo fantasy football page actually played in the NFL (and not for a college team?) Their top waiver wire pick-up for the week (here are ours) is James Starks, the new running back for the Green Bay Packers, but since it was throwback uniform day, they were sporting these stylish uni’s

So who to pick up now that Goodson is injured and clearly second-fiddle to Stewart?

Starting Foster every week unless he goes down, but no one else is matchup-proof: Have Rice, LT (whose best last good game may be tonight) and Blount. I like CHoice, thinking about adding him for his Week 15 date with WAS and maybe even wk 16 @ ARI. (hopefully will make it to wks 15 & 16….). I like Starks too, but hesitant to trust a rookie with my season. What do you all think?

      Also – D/St for next week – Atlanta (@Car) or Denver (@Ari)?

Be careful with Choice. Make sure you check on Barber’s progress. With Jerry Jones running the show (along with the fact that he is NEVER wrong), you just never know.

I thought the regular uniforms got ruined and they had to grab something from one of the local high schools in order to field a team. I was surprised that everyone had different numbers! Simply hideous!!

Apparently whoever does the fantasy point projections for Yahoo (probably a computer) really hates Kenny Britt’s chances against the Texans in week 15. Feel free to start him in weeks 14 or 16, where he should get your seven points or so…just don’t start him in week 15 against one of the worst pass defenses in the league!

Keep in mind that he still hasn’t even returned from injury, so who knows if he even plays at all in week 14. Anyways, I just found this amusing…

LOL, that’s one hilarious post! I think Yahoo must have accidentally marked him out for the wrong week. That’s okay, up until a couple weeks ago, Kurt Warner was still projected to have some points on a few sites.

It’s also funny that 214 people on Facebook “like” Kenny Britt. Are those all his relatives or something? Or do people really have that much disregard for who/what they “like” on the internet that they click any button they are shown? Hah

Actually it probably is close to how you explain it. The truth is that there are hundreds of sites that will pay people to “like” things on facebook.

Having well researched many online money making processes, I have noticed two things: 1. It is very very hard to make any substantial amount of money doing them without using the referral system (aka pyramid scheme). 2. There a massive amounts of people who are stupid enough to do these things anyway simply based on the hope that they will some day be making more.

That being said, I can’t think of anybody that would enlist a site to get people to like Kenny Britt. Unless the Titans are trying some new form of advertising lol.

I have Mr. Britt’s teammate, Nate Washington. I grabbed him off the wire for the week 15 matchup against what passes for a D in Houston (assuming that I am still playing week 15 of course.

The Wire – Week 14 pick-ups: Has the Tarvaris Jackson era begun?

Week 14 in many leagues means the start of the fantasy football playoffs…so hopefully your team is still alive! At this point, if you’re relying on waiver wire pickups to carry you to victory, you could be in serious trouble. However, maybe you just need to upgrade one minor spot to give you that tiny edge you need to advance to the next round. Anyways, I just needed someone for the post heading, so I picked Tarvaris Jackson, and if Favre starts in week 14, you obviously don’t want to start him! As always, we’ve included the percentage owned (taken from Yahoo.) Take a look and see if any of these guys can help patch your squad together and carry you to the Promised Land…

Dez Bryant out for year – try to trade for him in keeper leagues!

In case the trade deadline hasn’t passed in your league…and you’re in a keeper league, now might be the time to make a quick, sneaky trade for him. Bryant broke his ankle yesterday and will be out for the rest of the year. However, if you have a manager in your league who has Bryant, but is willing to make a drastic move to increase his chances of winning THIS year, you might be able to swipe him for next season. It’s worth a shot!

Funny thing is – if you’re a Bryant owner (like I am) you are anxiously awaiting the Cowboys putting him on IR so you can move him to the IR spot and keep him for next year. I kinda wish the Cowboys could just do it in-game (“He’s got a broken ankle, you’re on IR now”)
