Go Team Brandon in the FFGeekBlog.com Bowl!

Ray Rice carried my team too lol. Christmas came early I guess.

Ray Rice MAY have saved my life yesterday, barring a career game by Earl Bennett. Mike Vick destroyed me in one of my leagues, but in the FFGeekBlog.com Bowl, I still have a chance…

12-team league:
my score: 118.20 my players left = 2 WR’s – I can choose between Greg Jennings, Danny Woodhead, Percy Harvin, Joe Webb
my opponents score: 138.40 his players left = 0

14-team league:
my score: 79.18 my players left = 1 Joe Webb
my opponents score: 76.08 his players left = 1 Matt Forte

so, the 14-team league is setting up perfectly for me to watch a crazy MNF game whereas my 12-team league, I have some decisions to make. I currently have Jennings and Woodhead in – so is that a good move?

I am behind by a mere 0.30 points. My opponent has Sydney Rice tonight. I have the Bears D/ST. Left Manningham AND Collie on the bench (18+ and 17+ useless points), but still fell pretty good with what I have left on the “field”.
We’ll all know tomorrow morning who is in the Championship game and who is playing for 3rd place. Good luck to all (except Sydney Rice – he needs a game like Vernon Davis had, maybe not even that good).

Tim Tebow to get the start

However, since he doesn’t qualify for another position (such as Joe Webb at WR) you can’t really start him in your fantasy playoffs…right? I’m sure some people out there will start him, but it won’t be because I recommended him! Anyways, with the change at quarterback, at least Yahoo finally has taken Kyle Orton off the Can’t Cut List, so make sure to drop him and pick up someone useful.

It’s been an interesting year for Kyle Orton and I’m pretty interested to see the league’s perception of him going into the offseason. The Broncos will surely go a different direction, but Orton was pretty awesome for at least the first half of the year and showed that he can throw for some serious yardage if he wants to. With so many quarterback questions around the league (including in Denver!) I wonder who takes a shot on him next year?

Anyways, good luck in all your games!

I’m in a bind defense-wise. Do you think I should play the Oakland defense against Denver?

Most definitely. Always jump on a chance to start a defense against a rookie QB making his first start! Good luck 🙂

I watched some of this game. TT still has that funky throwing motion, but I don’t think it hurt him too much. Now all Denver needs is an O-line, a defense, a head coach, and another season!

Philip Rivers has a pretty funky throwing motion too and he seems to be doing alright. Is Tebow the hybrid of Vick and Rivers? The best of both worlds? Probably not.
