I pretty much hate it when site’s go crazy with slideshows instead of just listing stuff on a single page, but in case you’re looking for some NFL apps for your mobile device, Business Insider has a few. Just be prepared to flip through about 15 pages of the slideshow!

I couldn’t agree more!! BleacherReport.com for me is the biggest culprit. Their RSS feed is huge with more posts than anyone else I know, but half of them are slide shows. Even worse, about half way through the slideshow, they make you watch a 15 second ad. I’ve stopped even opening anything of theirs that is presented this way.

      hey brandon,

      Matthew Stafford (Det – QB)
      Andre Johnson (Hou – WR)
      Steve Smith (Car – WR)
      A.J. Green (Cin – WR)
      Steven Jackson (StL – RB)
      Marshawn Lynch (Sea – RB)
      Zach Miller (Sea – TE)
      Ryan Fitzpatrick (Buf – QB)
      Stevan Ridley (NE – RB)
      Derek Hagan (Oak – WR)
      Fred Davis (Was – TE)

With what you see, would you do a stafford for jamaal charles trade or package it differently? charles owner is in need of a QB and i’m desperate for a RB.

      THANKS!

      • Brandon 10:11 am on September 18, 2011 Permalink | Reply

Yes you are desperate, hah. I think I would do that trade. Charles is a first round draft pick to begin with, so you’re getting way more value. Plus, the drop off from Stafford to Fitzgerald should be a lot less than Charles to Lynch (your other starting RB.) Do it! (by the way, any other good QBs on the waiver wire?)

Start two: MJD/Fred Jackson/Beanie? Worried they’re limiting/saving MJD for later this year.

Dangit! Wrong thread. Sorry about the cross-post.

would you trade mike williams and Carnell williams for Marshall and sproles? thank you.

      • Brandon 10:11 am on September 18, 2011 Permalink | Reply

Would you play Sproles as a flex or something? This is a pretty solid trade actually, as you get two guys who start and he gets a starting WR and a backup running back. Go for it.

Is trading B.Jacobs for J. Starks a fair trade??? And would you want Kolb or Cutler as a backup??

      • Brandon 10:08 am on September 18, 2011 Permalink | Reply

I like Jacobs more than Starks, even with a bad game from Brandon. Give him another week and maybe hope the trade is still there if he doesn’t do anything again. As your backup, I’d go with Kolb. I like his receiving options a lot more.

Should I trade Willis McGahee and Mario Manningham for CJ Spiller and Santonio Holmes?

      • Brandon 10:07 am on September 18, 2011 Permalink | Reply

I wouldn’t recommend it. Not much to gain and I like Manningham, especially this week.

      QB Aaron Rodgers
      WR Kenny Britt
      WR Santana Moss
      WR Jordy Nelson
      RB Ahmad Bradshaw
      RB Mike Tolbert
      TE Vernon Davis
      BN BenJarvus Green-Ellis (rb)
      BN Scott Chandler (te)
      BN Early Doucet (wr)
      BN Reggie Bush (rb)
      BN Plaxico Burress (wr)

      K Josh Brown

      DEF Washington
      BN Houston

FOR WEEK TWO WOULD YOU MAKE ANY CHANGES, DROPS, ADDS, OR KEEP IT THE WAY IT IS?

      • Brandon 10:13 am on September 18, 2011 Permalink | Reply

I thnk I’d start Burress over Nelson, but it’s close. Looks good either way. Good luck!

Thank God, I didn’t go with Burress this week.. What a bust!

          • Brandon 6:27 am on September 21, 2011 Permalink | Reply

Between the two of them, they only had one catch…lucky for you Nelson had an 84 yard touchdown with that one catch 🙂 Not sure what happened to Burress though!

  • Brandon 2:17 pm on September 16, 2011 Permalink

Keep an eye on these guys over the weekend, as it doesn’t appear that we’ll know their status for sure until gametime: Dez Bryant, Santonio Holmes, Lance Moore, Arian Foster, Hakeem Nicks, Brandon Lloyd, Knowshon Moreno and Jacoby Ford (ruled out).

Worst one would have to be Steven Jackson. At least the others are Sunday afternoon players, so you have some options for plugging in a substitute.

nicks is monday night to there guy

        • Brandon 10:06 am on September 18, 2011 Permalink | Reply

I grabbed Domenik Hixon in my league with Nicks, but maybe even that is too risky for some people?

          • mic 3:10 pm on September 19, 2011 Permalink | Reply

hixon is already gone in my league.

    • Duncan 10:27 am on September 18, 2011 Permalink | Reply

So do I start a questionable nicks or make the risky move of starting potential sleeper burleson against a chief’s defense that’s sans Eric berry?

      • Brandon 12:48 pm on September 18, 2011 Permalink | Reply

Can you pick up Domenik Hixon? Then you have a safety option in case Nicks doesn’t play. If Nicks does play though, which he claims he will, I like him over Burleson.

Has everyone seen this ESPN fantasy football Star Wars commercial? Pretty good stuff I figured I should share…

    • Paul 8:25 pm on September 16, 2011 Permalink | Reply

The concept was cute, but did they have to pick one of my favorite lines from the Star Wars saga (“I find your lack of faith disturbing”) and turn it into a punchline? Oh, well, at least we now know why TK 421 wasn’t at his post.
