First-Half Fantasy Player Awards
Biggest Surprise: Hard to go with anyone but Cam Newton here. He’s had a good deal of help from a re-energized Steve Smith, but the inverse is true as well – it’s so long since we last saw how dangerous Smith could be that the fantasy world had just about written him off. Those who took a late-round flier on him in keeper leagues have been on cloud nine all season. Honorable Mention: Jimmy Graham, Victor Cruz, Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Biggest Flop: Again, an easy call – Chris Johnson isn’t just having a bad year, he’s having an awful one. The only reason he wasn’t benched weeks ago is because he forced his team to sign him to what looks like a ludicrous contract now. You have to wonder whether he somehow knew his best playing days were already behind him, making it imperative to sign a contract before anyone got the chance to see him play. Honorable Mention: DeAngelo Williams, Josh Freeman (a pre-season fantasy darling), Mike Williams (blame Freeman). (More …)

Is Sam Bradford returning next week a safe bet? Wondering if dropping AJ Feeley now is smart.
Brandon 1:38 pm on November 1, 2011 Permalink |
That’s the word on the street. If you wouldn’t start AJ Feeley this week anyways, obviously you’re free to drop him.

Who to start at defense. The Bears or should I pickup the Rams, Cardinals, Redskins, Colts or Broncos.
The Don 2:49 pm on November 1, 2011 Permalink |
Tim teebow, Josh Freeman, Carson Palmer Alex Smith or Sam Bradford which 2 should i keep im struglin right now
Mike 4:00 pm on November 1, 2011 Permalink |
thats tough. Tebow has good legs, and will get at least on the ground, but its a RISKY bet, especially given his last performance. Palmer could be good, but its still not sure if he will have any gas in the tank, or know the offesne well enough, Smith has been ok and he has edwards and crabtree back, Bradford has a bad line, but dude can throw, and he has Lloyd now. Freeman has been pretty good, and has a good match up vs NO. Id say Tebow and Freeman, but keep your eye on Palmer. Just my thoughts

who is the better waiver wire running back for this next week…i am hurting with newton/smith and peterson out. my other RB’s are all banged up…hardesty, jones, McGahee. I have Maurice Morris…so i can play him…and if McGahee goes then i can play him too… i can go get Marion Barber, Chris Ogbonnaya, or even the lump – Kregg Lumpkin. also, need a qb…should I go Dalton? my QB choices are limited this week…travaris Jackson, AJ FEELEY, etc. what are your thoughts. i need a QB and a RB.

how about cj200 for surprisingly frustrating flop with no keeper value making a statement about how much he sux. i just got offered DMC for CJ200 in 0.5 ppr.. about to click accept.. what do you think about their value for ff playoff schedules? im 6-2 now, hoping i have a good shot at making the playoffs so could potentially take the hit even if dmc didnt play this week.. but wk 14-16 for DMC’s is GB, DET, & KC while CJ has NO, IND, & JAX.. thanks!

Sigh is it time to drop Peyton Hillis?
Brandon 11:41 am on November 2, 2011 Permalink |
I wouldn’t. Wait until he comes back from his injury and see how it plays out. He might even play this week, so you’ll get an idea of where he stands.

Which WRs should I start. 2WR and a W/T flex.
Decker, Manningham, Nicks, JNelson, Antonio Brown. I am thinking Nicks, Nelson and Brown/Decker. Leaning toward Decker cause Brown is up against the Baltimore defense. Thoughts? (((I’ve got Heath Miller as my other TE (W/T flex)(Finley getting the start)))

Which defense is better to start: SF who has been pretty good all year, or DAL who is shaky at times but has a good matchup against seattle at home?

San Francisco vs a John Beck-led Redskins team that scored 0 points last week!
