    There’s a football game tonight!

The Raiders head to San Diego to play the Chargers. The game will be on the NFL Network, so most of you probably won’t be able to watch it, but you still want to check your rosters to make sure all your Chargers and Raiders players are in their desired spots!!!

Here’s the current status of some of the players that had question marks for the week:

    • RB Darren McFadden – OUT
    • WR Malcom Floyd – Doubtful
    • RB Ryan Mathews – Probable – Start him if you got him.
    • WR Darrius Heyward-Bey – Healthy, but who knows how much playing time he gets after not playing a whole lot last week!
    • TE Kevin Boss – Same as DHB above. Don’t start Boss if you can help it.

Who to start in my PPR league for the WR/RB position: Breaston, James Starks, Green-Ellis, or Helu. Thanks

      • Brandon 3:17 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink | Reply

Although consistency is not the first (or the second, third, etc) word you think of when talking about the Redskins running game, I think in this case you roll the dice with Helu after last week’s performance. I have to imagine he gets plenty of looks in the passing game again which will help you out PPR-wise a lot. Good luck!

I have M. Bush Tolbert and Mathews and I can only start 2. Now here’s my thinking. Yes I know you should never run 2 rbs on the same team…but, imo I like the matchup better running tolbert and mathews against a terrible run defense and I don’t see Bush getting any more than 10 points . Any thoughts from you guys on who you would start? Thanks

      • Brandon 3:24 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink | Reply

On the contrary, I envision Michael Bush having a pretty solid game actually. He’s had over 100 combined yards in the past couple games he started and as the Raiders love to run the ball, he will probably approach that again. The Chargers running backs are the riskier play in my eyes since A) there are two of them to split up the carries and B) Mathews is returning from injury. I’d go Bush and Mathews and rest Tolbert (even though in reality I like all three of them this week.) Good luck either way though!

Mathews was a bust (so was Tolbert), but Bush had a HUGE game!!! Hopefully Corey listened to me ๐Ÿ™‚

I was on the fence up until about 15 minutes to go. And what’s funny about this whole situation. Another owner in my league had offered me Brees for Mathews and 15 mins before gametime that trade 2 days ago processed before game time lol. So it forced me to play Tolbert and Bush. And yea I had Bush as a starter before this happened but this sealed it lol. Thanks for advice though. ๐Ÿ™‚

      NON- PPR

HELP! Okay, here is my dilema, I have all top 20 WR’s (Dwayne Bowe, Brandon Marshall, Julio Jones and A.J. Green) I also have great Running Backs (AP, Mike Tolbert, Starks and Reggie Bush)

I need help on who to start for my WR’s and Flex:

Should I play A.J. Green aganist Pit, Julio Jones aganist NO or Brandon Marshall aganist Washingston?
Dwayne Bowe is a for sure starter, which leaves two spots for WR’s open

      Okay now Running backs:

I am playing AP for sure and I am leaning towards playing Tolbert in my flex or should I put in Bush?

      HELP PLEASE

should i trade steve smith and DHB for ray rice. i am in a PPR(1pt. per reception) format. i do like the double dip i get when newton and smith connect with paydirt. I have Peterson and Johnson…i could have a 3 headed monster adding rice and having all 3 running for me using the flex spot. my 2 receivers would be bryant and cruz…newton and witten…hanson and packers to round it out. good trade?

      • Brandon 3:33 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink | Reply

After the games Oakland played with DHB last week (e.g. his lack of playing time), I’d say go ahead and make the trade. Having AP and Rice at running back is HUGE and it looks like you’ll survive at WR without Smith. With Newton at QB at least you get to live vicariously off of any stats he puts up anyways ๐Ÿ™‚

      QB – Matt Schaub
WR – DeSean Jackson, A.J. Green, Laurent Robinson/Jordy Nelson (still debating)
      RB – Arian Foster, MJD
      TE – Jake Ballard

Flex = Andy Dalton (QB), Darren Sproles (RB), BenJarvus Green-Ellis, (Pierre Garcon-WR)

User Requested Player Rankings โ€“ Week 10

As with last year, instead of automatically ranking every player at every position (like the big sites with the big bucks do :-)), I’ll be ranking all requested players against other requested players. For example, if you have four wide receivers and you’re trying to fill three spots, you just comment with the four names and I’ll rank them against eachother. In essence, this will accomplish the same thing as if you were to scan a complete list of wide receivers for where your four guys rank.

Here’s a link to the Google Doc spreadsheet for those viewing on mobile devices. Anyways, feel free to start submitting names for me to rank! I’ll start the list off with a few guys that were on the list last week.

Just a disclaimer…I’m more likely to put your players on the list faster if you just give me a couple names to compare. When you comment with your entire team, it makes me less likely to get the players listed until the very last minute. (View the rankings after the jump)… (More …)

      Good morning fellas..

Please add: Tim Tebow, Matt Ryan, Reggie Wayne, Steve Breaston

And would you start Pierre Thomas over Witten in a .5ppr/.25ppc?

      • Brandon 11:14 am on November 10, 2011 Permalink | Reply

Got your guys on the list. As for PT vs Witten, I’d roll with Witten. He’s got a great match-up with the Bills while the PT Cruiser plays the Falcons, who are pretty tough against the run.

Just added them. As for Jahvid Best, Yahoo’s little predictions don’t have him returning for a few more weeks and all I know for sure is that he won’t play this week. If you’re in danger of not making the playoffs and you need the roster spot, you might just cut him or trade him to someone who is willing to take the risk.

        • trade'em if you got'em 12:11 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink | Reply

Nah I’m in second in the league. And yeah I know Best will be out for a bit more. It’s just frustrating keeping him on my bench almost all season.

So far me line up this week:
          Tony Romo
          Jacoby Ford
          Julio Jones
          Arian Foster
          Frank Gore
          Antonio Brown (flex)
          S. Janikowski
          SF

          The Bench:
          Reggie Bush
          Beanie wells
          Victor Cruz
          M. Lynch
          Best (broken)
I also have Celek (TE) but was thinking of dropping him for L. Robinson or for a kicker depending on Janikowski this week.

I like my line up but was wondering if the bush should be apart of it.

I’m gonna leave beanie out this week since he is so unpredictable when injured and it looks like he will be that way the rest of the season

          • Brandon 2:17 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink | Reply

That’s a tough one. I actually like Victor Cruz over Jacoby Ford unless it’s a kick return yardage league or something. Or you could play Antonio Brown over Ford and put Reggie Bush in the flex. I’m just worried that Ford may not be able to repeat his performance from last week, especially if they get Heyward-Bey involved again.

In my 8 team, 2QB, 3Flex league, Iโ€™m pretty stacked at both WR and RB. My only weak spot is TE, especially in week 11 when Owen Daniels is on bye (Iโ€™ll have to pick someone up off waivers).

Iโ€™d like to propose a trade with an owner who has Jason Witten, Rob Gronkowski and Heath Miller. Iโ€™d take either Witten or Grokowski – both of whom are an upgrade from Daniels, I think. What do you think I should offer him? I’d like to start 1-for-1 offering Colston or Boldin. If he wants 3 TEโ€™s (not sure why), Iโ€™d offer Daniels and one of those receivers or a mid-RB (Pierre Thomas or Cedric Benson). If he doesnโ€™t want another TE, Iโ€™m thinking Pierre Thomas or Benson and Boldin or Colston.

      My other players are:
WR: Dez, Smith (Car), White, Antonio Brown
RB: Foster, McCoy, Blount, Murray, Tate

      What do you think?

Hi Guys, hoping to get some input here. Here’s what my starting line-up looks like week 10:

      QB Drew Brees, NO QB
RB Frank Gore, SF RB Q
RB Ryan Mathews, SD RB P
      RB/WR Laurent Robinson, Dal WR
      WR Steve Smith, Car WR
      WR Jordy Nelson, GB WR
      TE Jason Witten, Dal TE
      D/ST Packers D/ST D/ST
      K Billy Cundiff, Bal K

I am only unsure of my Flex flex. Would you go with Pierre Garcon, Jackie Battle, or Laurent Robinson? I’d also think that I may go with Laurent Robinson over Jordy Nelson. I am just concerned that I’ll miss a big week from PG or JB. Thoughts?

I think I’m with you on that. My last comment/question would be, do you trust a somewhat inconsistent Jordy Nelson in my WR2 spot, or go with Pierre who has a great match-up in what could be Indy’s only “win” of the year.

          • Brandon 2:24 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink | Reply

Not sure I’d consider Garcon’s match-up a “great” match-up, as the Jags are the fourth best team in the league against wide receivers (from a fantasy points perspective.) If the Jaguars lose it’ll be because their offense is bad, not because their pass defense faltered.

Agreed, go with Reggie Bush at the flex spot. I have him and Houston ranked now too.

Who do I start this week for RB? Tolbert, Turner, or Murray? I also have a concern w/ starting Nicks at WR, do I go with him? I also have Steve Breaston, Desean Jackson, and Antonio Brown.

Hopefully you saw my rankings and went with Turner and Murray! As for the other guys, they’re ranked as well already.

Tom Brady or Big Ben? Usually I would always go Brady, but he’s matched up against the Jets and hasn’t been playing well as of late. Advice?

Gore should be fine vs the giants d and Decker will be playing across from Flowers. Your choice but I would start Gore.

pick 2 (wr2 & flex) – marshawn lynch, aj green, & brandon llyod? scoring is a bit atypical, 0.5 ppr w/ 1pt / 20 yrds rcving vs 1pt / 10 yards rushing (usually favors backs). all w/ tough matchups – angry ravens, ike taylor or joe haden. thanks!
