User Requested Player Rankings – Week 10
As with last year, instead of automatically ranking every player at every position (like the big sites with the big bucks do
), I’ll be ranking all requested players against other requested players. For example, if you have four wide receivers and you’re trying to fill three spots, you just comment with the four names and I’ll rank them against eachother. In essence, this will accomplish the same thing as if you were to scan a complete list of wide receivers for where your four guys rank.
Here’s a link to the Google Doc spreadsheet for those viewing on mobile devices. Anyways, feel free to start submitting names for me to rank! I’ll start the list off with a few guys that were on the list last week.
Just a disclaimer…I’m more likely to put your players on the list faster if you just give me a couple names to compare. When you comment with your entire team, it makes me less likely to get the players listed until the very last minute. (View the rankings after the jump)…

Good morning fellas..
Please add: Tim Tebow, Matt Ryan, Reggie Wayne, Steve Breaston
And would you start Pierre Thomas over Witten in a .5ppr/.25ppc?
Brandon 11:14 am on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
Got your guys on the list. As for PT vs Witten, I’d roll with Witten. He’s got a great match-up with the Bills while the PT Cruiser plays the Falcons, who are pretty tough against the run.
Steve 9:25 am on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
Could you please add: Jordy Nelson, Antonio Brown, Steven Jackson, Shonn Greene, Laurent Robinson, Bears and Jaguars defense.
Great thanks, love the site.

Thanks man! Got all your guys on the list now.

Will you add,
victor cruz
julio jones
frank gore
beanie wells
tony romo
And FTLO FF will someone please tell me when Best will be back.
Brandon 11:25 am on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
Just added them. As for Jahvid Best, Yahoo’s little predictions don’t have him returning for a few more weeks and all I know for sure is that he won’t play this week. If you’re in danger of not making the playoffs and you need the roster spot, you might just cut him or trade him to someone who is willing to take the risk.
trade'em if you got'em 12:11 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
Nah I’m in second in the league. And yeah I know Best will be out for a bit more. It’s just frustrating keeping him on my bench almost all season.
So far me line up this week:
Tony Romo
Jacoby Ford
Julio Jones
Arian Foster
Frank Gore
Antonio Brown (flex)
S. Janikowski
SF
The Bench:
Reggie Bush
Beanie wells
Victor Cruz
M. Lynch
Best (broken)
I also have Celek (TE) but was thinking of dropping him for L. Robinson or for a kicker depending on Janikowski this week.
I like my line up but was wondering if the bush should be apart of it.
I’m gonna leave beanie out this week since he is so unpredictable when injured and it looks like he will be that way the rest of the season
Brandon 2:17 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
That’s a tough one. I actually like Victor Cruz over Jacoby Ford unless it’s a kick return yardage league or something. Or you could play Antonio Brown over Ford and put Reggie Bush in the flex. I’m just worried that Ford may not be able to repeat his performance from last week, especially if they get Heyward-Bey involved again.
JB 10:15 am on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
Would you play Matt Schaub or Matt Cassell?

thanks
Van 11:44 am on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
I have the same choice JB. Who knows? I’m starting Phillips because I’m a bit afraid of the Bears D against the Lions in Chicago.
Van 11:45 am on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
oops…Rivers not Phillips.

In my 8 team, 2QB, 3Flex league, I’m pretty stacked at both WR and RB. My only weak spot is TE, especially in week 11 when Owen Daniels is on bye (I’ll have to pick someone up off waivers).
I’d like to propose a trade with an owner who has Jason Witten, Rob Gronkowski and Heath Miller. I’d take either Witten or Grokowski – both of whom are an upgrade from Daniels, I think. What do you think I should offer him? I’d like to start 1-for-1 offering Colston or Boldin. If he wants 3 TE’s (not sure why), I’d offer Daniels and one of those receivers or a mid-RB (Pierre Thomas or Cedric Benson). If he doesn’t want another TE, I’m thinking Pierre Thomas or Benson and Boldin or Colston.
My other players are:
WR: Dez, Smith (Car), White, Antonio Brown
RB: Foster, McCoy, Blount, Murray, Tate
What do you think?

I can’t decide between McGahee and Sproles in my last RB slot. Any help??
Brandon 1:34 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
I have McGahee slightly ahead of Sproles, but if it’s a PPR league, go Sproles. Good luck!

I have a bunch for you this week. Also, as a note, this is absolutely the last year I play in more than one league; so confusing…
QB: Andy Dalton, Sam Bradford, Cam Newton, Joe Flacco
WR: Nate Washington, David Nelson, Calvin Johnson, Deione Branch
RB: BenJarvis Green Ellis, MJD, Ben Tate
DEF: Miami, Baltimore, Kansas City
Brandon 1:56 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |

Micahel Bush vs A Hernandez, who would you give the flex spot?????????????
Brandon 1:17 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |

Could you please add Plaxico? Thanks!
Greg Hammer 1:15 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
Hi Guys, hoping to get some input here. Here’s what my starting line-up looks like week 10:
QB Drew Brees, NO QB
RB Frank Gore, SF RB Q
RB Ryan Mathews, SD RB P
RB/WR Laurent Robinson, Dal WR
WR Steve Smith, Car WR
WR Jordy Nelson, GB WR
TE Jason Witten, Dal TE
D/ST Packers D/ST D/ST
K Billy Cundiff, Bal K
I am only unsure of my Flex flex. Would you go with Pierre Garcon, Jackie Battle, or Laurent Robinson? I’d also think that I may go with Laurent Robinson over Jordy Nelson. I am just concerned that I’ll miss a big week from PG or JB. Thoughts?
Brandon 1:36 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
Can you play Nelson as a WR and Robinson as your Flex? Do that if so!
Greg Hammer 2:02 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
I sure can. I’m just worried i’ll miss the first good performance of Garcon, or a solid 10 points from Jackie Battle for taking a flier on Robinson.
Brandon 2:13 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
I’d be more worried about missing a good performance from Robinson, who has been solid the past two weeks.
Greg Hammer 2:18 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink
I think I’m with you on that. My last comment/question would be, do you trust a somewhat inconsistent Jordy Nelson in my WR2 spot, or go with Pierre who has a great match-up in what could be Indy’s only “win” of the year.
Brandon 2:24 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
Not sure I’d consider Garcon’s match-up a “great” match-up, as the Jags are the fourth best team in the league against wide receivers (from a fantasy points perspective.) If the Jaguars lose it’ll be because their offense is bad, not because their pass defense faltered.
Greg Hammer 2:29 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink
Just started reading your site today, and must say… super impressed. Thanks a ton for the insight, much appreciated!

Who do you think is a better start Jacobs or Ogbonnaya? Please add them. Thanks!
Brandon 2:08 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
Not high on either of them, but I’ll give Jacobs the benefit of the doubt as long as Ahmad Bradshaw doesn’t play.

Hi Brandon please help a sister out, (I can’t decide and need to pick two wr’s between B Lloyd, D. Jackson, M. Colston or Laurent Robinson)

RKM 1:54 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
Mike Williams or Hakeem Nicks (who is now expected to play)?
My WR are getting scarce with injuries. UGH
Brandon 2:05 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
If Nicks plays, you have to go with him over Williams based on his upside.
RKM 2:13 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
Thanks. You confirmed my gut. And that’s how I’ve set my line up. I will watch the updates on his status to make sure he plays. And will leave him in if he does. THANKS!
Van 1:56 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
Thanks Brandon…I’ll go with McGahee over Sproles.
What do you think about playing Philly Defense vs Arizona…or 49′s vs NYG. I have Philly starting now, but am not sure.
Brandon 2:09 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
I like both defenses, but the 49ers have been great this year and I’d roll with them.

NON- PPR
HELP! Okay, here is my dilema, I have all top 20 WR’s (Dwayne Bowe, Brandon Marshall, Julio Jones and A.J. Green) I also have great Running Backs (AP, Mike Tolbert, Starks and Reggie Bush)
I need help on who to start for my WR’s and Flex:
Should I play A.J. Green aganist Pit, Julio Jones aganist NO or Brandon Marshall aganist Washingston?
Dwayne Bowe is a for sure starter, which leaves two spots for WR’s open
Okay now Running backs:
I am playing AP for sure and I am leaning towards playing Tolbert in my flex or should I put in Bush?
HELP PLEASE
Brandon 2:12 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
I’d go Bowe/Jones/Green at WR, AP/Tolbert at RB and Bush at Flex. Does that work?
Derrest Williams 2:26 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
You like Green and his rookie QB aganist Pits D? Also Mia had a great showing last week and is playing Washington D.
Brandon 11:37 am on November 11, 2011 Permalink |
Added him to the list. I’m not in love with Green this week, but in most leagues with 3 WR, you’ll still want to start him since he’s putting up double digit points on a regular basis.
Vinnie Lester 2:15 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
Who should I go with in the flex spot Ryan Mathews or Roddy White? And could you add Jeremy Maclin?
Brandon 2:22 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
That’s a tough one there. I like Mathews and White this week. If I had to pick though I guess I’d go Ryan Mathews against a soft Raiders run defense. I’ll get Maclin added in a bit. Good luck!

Brandon 11:36 am on November 11, 2011 Permalink |
Got them all listed I believe.
Jeron 3:57 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
Reggie Bush, Brandon Jacobs, Antonio Brown, or Jordy Nelson at the flex spot this week? I’m leaning towards Reggie because he’s coming off two great games and is matched up against the redskins, although as soon as I start him he’s gonna drop a goose egg.
Jeron 3:59 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |
PS can you add reggie bush and houston D
Brandon 11:28 am on November 11, 2011 Permalink |
Agreed, go with Reggie Bush at the flex spot. I have him and Houston ranked now too.

Please add Mike Tolbert and Torrey Smith. Thanks!
Brandon 4:55 pm on November 10, 2011 Permalink |

Who do I start this week for RB? Tolbert, Turner, or Murray? I also have a concern w/ starting Nicks at WR, do I go with him? I also have Steve Breaston, Desean Jackson, and Antonio Brown.
Brandon 11:29 am on November 11, 2011 Permalink |

pick 2 (wr2 & flex) – marshawn lynch, aj green, & brandon llyod? scoring is a bit atypical, 0.5 ppr w/ 1pt / 20 yrds rcving vs 1pt / 10 yards rushing (usually favors backs). all w/ tough matchups – angry ravens, ike taylor or joe haden. thanks!
