Well that didn’t last long! The Jaguars…
Well that didn’t last long! The Jaguars have put newly re-acquired receiver Mike Sims-Walker on injured reserve with a knee injury. To replace him they claimed Brows cast-off Brian Robiskie…who should not be on your fantasy team.

pls add Manningham, Cruz, Murray, Bush/McFadden (I think DMC will be out),
QBs Fitz, Stafford, Dalton
KC, Oak D/Sts
Brandon 3:01 pm on November 3, 2011 Permalink
I’ll add those guys, but in the future it’s probably safer if you leave the comment on the actual rankings post so I don’t miss it! By the way, don’t start Stafford…he’s not playing this week π
TJ 4:04 pm on November 3, 2011 Permalink
Sorry about that, I realized I posted in the wrong place but didn’t think it was worth stating the obvious. And I meant Bradford, not Stafford, to add
Thanks!

hey Brandon, i have 2 questions, first in TE, aaron hernandez or Brent celek ,and i have 5 solid WRs and 3 RBs, its a 2 WR 2 RB and 1 WR/RB i have M austin, Stevie johnson, brandon marshall, A.J. green, and antonio brown, my RBs are L mccoy, BJGE, and d. murray, who should i start, for sure starting – AJ green, Austin and Mccoy
Brandon 10:04 am on November 4, 2011 Permalink
Hernandez, then Green/Austin, McCoy/Murray and roll the dice on Green-Ellis against a bad Giants run defense.
Hapa 10:19 pm on November 3, 2011 Permalink
Between the trio of Beanie Wells, Steven Jackson, and LeGarrette Blount, which two should I start? Also, would you consider starting Johnathan Baldwin or James Jones over Reggie Wayne this week?
Many Thanks!
Brandon 10:05 am on November 4, 2011 Permalink
Check out our player rankings for the week. I’ll add the final couple players you asked about to the list shortly so you’ll know who to start: http://ffgeekblog.com/2011/11/user-requested-player-rankings-%E2%80%93-week-9/

I’m so torn this week. Just looking for some advice on which WR i should start (3WR league, 0.5PPR, 10YPP).
I have Nicks, Manningham, JNelson, Decker, and Antonio Brown. Based on the Player Rankings you posted for Week 9, I SHOULD start Nicks, Manningham and Brown. I am weary to put Decker in because of Tebow’s shaky position. I guess what I am wondering is should I have Manningham and Nicks in with them being on the same team. As always, any insight/advice/help is very much appreciated!
Brandon 10:07 am on November 4, 2011 Permalink
Looks like Nicks might not play this week, so that should make your decision easier π If he’s out, go Manningham, Decker and Brown. Good luck!

Dilemma – Pick 2 WR 1TE 1 TE/WR
Colston, Bryant, Vjax, Finley, Gronkowski
AKA WHO DO I LEAVE OUT?!
Brandon 10:12 am on November 4, 2011 Permalink
That’s a tough one there. I like the upside of V-Jax and Finley over Gronk this week, but Gronk is a safer play I think. I guess I’d bench Jermichael Finley and hope he doesn’t blow up. Good luck!
Brandon 10:19 am on November 4, 2011 Permalink
Okay, I’ve already changed my mind (see how tough this is!) I now have Finley ranked a spot ahead of Gronk. Check back tomorrow though and see who I’m favoring π
Mal 12:05 am on November 6, 2011 Permalink
tough indeed, will do! Cheers mate!
David 3:54 am on November 4, 2011 Permalink
should i bench chris johnson this week or what?! back up isn’t too strong (ben tate & james starks)
Brandon 10:09 am on November 4, 2011 Permalink
I’d still stick with Johnson this week, but next week might be when I start recommending someone like Starks over him.
Tony 10:11 am on November 4, 2011 Permalink
I think you mean (i.e.) not aka
Brandon 10:13 am on November 4, 2011 Permalink
I think a simple “Who do I bench?” would have sufficed π

Hey Brandon quick question!
Non-ppr, standard scoring league with 14 teams (very deep)
Got a trade offer: Fitzgerald and Hills FOR Peterson
Think I should do it?? I have written Hillis off, and Fitz is only so-so this year. Peterson is a beast
james hance 2:01 pm on November 4, 2011 Permalink
whos your WRs
Brandon 8:35 pm on November 4, 2011 Permalink
You’re getting Peterson? I’d do that deal for sure as long as you have half-way decent receivers to start.
Will 11:53 am on November 4, 2011 Permalink
hey brandon
i’m thinking of trading Jones-Drew and Decker for Megatron…. I have some good RB already: LeSean McCoy, Murray, and Fred Jackson… so that wouldn’t hurt my running game much. Need a good WR π
james hance 2:00 pm on November 4, 2011 Permalink
how much RBs do you start?, if only 2 dp it!, even if its 3 murray is a beast! do the trade!!
Brandon 8:36 pm on November 4, 2011 Permalink
Do it up!
Will 10:51 am on November 7, 2011 Permalink
After waiting for my offer to expire, he sent a counter offer:
Send LeSean McCoy, Phi RB
Send Maurice Jones-Drew, Jac RB
Send Eric Decker, Den WR
Receive Cam Newton, Car QB
Receive Calvin Johnson, Det WR
Receive Fred Davis, Wsh TE
Now, I know Cam Newton is currently ranked #1 QB, and Calvin Johnson is #1 WR, but I’m wary about losing both McCoy and Jones-Drew. I’d still have DeMarco Murray and Fred Jackson though.
I currently have Ryan Fitzpatrick and Josh Freeman as QBs, so Newton IS a step up. My starting wide receivers are Brandon Lloyd and A.J. Green. Johnson would be nice to add as my WR1. So, essentially I’d be switching from having 3 RBs and 2 WRs to having 2 RBs and 3 WRs, right?
What do you think? I would definitely wait to trade until after today’s game though. Need those points from McCoy!
Will 10:52 am on November 7, 2011 Permalink
Oh, and Fred Davis isn’t much of a factor as I have Witten, who has been pretty solid. Just thought I’d add that in.
james hance 6:18 pm on November 8, 2011 Permalink
whos ur qb before the trade, and ur WRs, and ur RBs
james hance 6:20 pm on November 8, 2011 Permalink
nvrmnd, i didnt read the full thing, do the trade, fred jax and murray are both RLY good, IK u`l miss mccoy, but the step up for QB and WR is WAY worth it and i would start murray ans fred jax over jones drew, do the trade

Could/Should I trade Gronkowski and a WR3 for McGahee? I could give him Torrey Smith, Braylon Edwards, or Greg Little. I desperately need help w/ my RB situation this week because of BYE weeks but don’t want to sell the farm as I’m looking better next week.
james hance 2:00 pm on November 4, 2011 Permalink
ya, do it, and pick up a decent TE
Brandon 8:37 pm on November 4, 2011 Permalink
Who would you start at tight end with Gronk gone? I’d say McGahee straight up for Gronk is a fair deal with McGahee being hurt and inconsistent.
JP 1:46 pm on November 4, 2011 Permalink
Hey Brandon,
Would you start Jackie Battle or Michael Bush in the flex position this week?
james hance 1:59 pm on November 4, 2011 Permalink
bush, with mcFadden injured expect a big game for bush
Brandon 8:38 pm on November 4, 2011 Permalink

Hey Brandon,
What are your thoughts on trading larry fitz for andre johnson where I get Johnson? Fitz has kolb throwing to him but Johnson’s health this season has been shaky.
james hance 1:59 pm on November 4, 2011 Permalink
fitz is doing solid with kold behing center, and andre isnt playing week 9 but when he does come back he probably will be very good
Brandon 8:40 pm on November 4, 2011 Permalink
As long as you can survive the next week (or maybe two if absolutely necessary) do this trade in a heart beat. If you’re going to make the playoffs, Johnson will be a much better start than Fitz.
james hance 1:58 pm on November 4, 2011 Permalink
who should i start? M austin AJ green, Antonio brown, B marshal or stevie johnson?, (pick 3)
Brandon 8:39 pm on November 4, 2011 Permalink
Austin, Green and Johnson get my vote.
JP 2:02 pm on November 4, 2011 Permalink
Fred Davis or Vernon Davis this week?
Brandon 8:39 pm on November 4, 2011 Permalink
As long as it looks like Fred Davis is healthy (which it seems he should be fine) go with him. He’s been all the Redskins have on offense these past few weeks, while Vernon Davis has been disappointing regularly.
Corey 2:42 pm on November 4, 2011 Permalink
Injury bug has hit me week 9. Need to pick 2 between: Jacobs, M.Bush, Tolbert or Antonio Brown/Sidney Rice. Thanks. I’m at a point where I could go with any 2 but wanted to get your guys opinions.
Brandon 8:41 pm on November 4, 2011 Permalink
Since it looks like Darren McFadden and Ryan Mathews will be out this weekend (or at least severely limited) go with their more than capable backups, Bush and Tolbert. Good luck man!
Shawn 10:28 pm on November 4, 2011 Permalink
Should i start Jon Baldwin or Eric Decker?
Brandon 9:10 am on November 6, 2011 Permalink

Carson Palmer (@Denver) or Tarvaris Jackson (against Dallas’ defense)?
Neil 1:33 pm on November 5, 2011 Permalink
oops…Palmer at home against Denver. Sorry.
Corey 1:36 pm on November 5, 2011 Permalink
Roll the dice with Palmer. Should have a better grasp on the offense. Jackson going up against a ticked off Defense. Check waiver line to see if Cassel or Matt Ryan are available as well. They both have GREAT matchups vs Dolphins and Colts. Good Luck
Neil 3:09 pm on November 5, 2011 Permalink
thanks! Appreciate it. Yea, the Dallas D was the only thing that made me debate which one to start. Nah, I have no other options. in a 12 team-2QB league. there is not a single available QB. (my current QB situation is Palmer, Cutler, and Jackson. Gotta love auto-draft!)
Brandon 9:12 am on November 6, 2011 Permalink
Agree with Corey here. Not many situations where I would recommend you start Tarvaris Jackson and against the Cowboys is definitely not one of them! π
Corey 1:35 pm on November 5, 2011 Permalink
Roll the dice with Palmer @denver. Should have a better grasp on the offense and Jackson is going up against a ticked off defense. OR if the waiver line is looking ok pickup Cassel this week. Great matchup vs the Dolphins or Matt Ryan vs IND. Great matchups for both of those guys.

Question, What WR should I start this week? Currently I have:
Starting:
Nate Washington
Brandon Marshall
Mario Manningham
Bench:
Percy Harvin (Bye)
Plexico Burress
Also, would you start Michael Bush over DeMarco Murray?
Brandon 9:14 am on November 6, 2011 Permalink
You just picking one of those WR? Go Manningham for sure with Hakeem Nicks and the Giants playing the Patriots sad pass defense. At running back, go with Michael Bush who should get tons of carries with Carson Palmer still learning the offense. Good luck!
