The Wire: Championship, baby!
This season I’ve continued to tweak the format of the waiver wire list, so pay attention! I’ve organized it by position now, since that probably makes more sense when you’re trying to fill a particular position. In terms of the color coding: green are guys to target, yellow are guys that are less-than-spectacular, but you can plug-in if necessary, and red are one-hit-wonders you can ignore.
Here is the waiver wire advice for this week in Google Doc spreadsheet format if that’s the way you prefer to digest it.
Remember, Pickemfirst is a great browser plug-in to use with our waiver wire lists!

I’m in the Championship game!! Thanks for all your good info!! Two quick questions…… Should I play Julio Jones over any of these players this week?….. Dez Bryant, Larry Fitzgerald, or Steve Smith (Car)….. and which defense? Seattle or Detroit??? Thanks again!

My roster is pretty much set for the ‘ship. Just need to know if I should play Hakeem Nicks or Brandon Lloyd at WR2? Revis Island vs. Kellen Clemens..

Can’t bench Nicks.

Seattle defense, Cincinnati defense, Detroit defense, or Dallas defense??? Leaning towards Cincy D, then maybe Seattle D… I kind of want to start Seattle D but I’m a Niners’ fan too… -_-”

This may seem silly, but Tarvaris (vs. SF) or Orton (vs. OAK). (leaning toward Orton after his performance last week…)

Ok so someone just dumped Victor Cruz and Percy Harvin on Waivers, Im dumping Marion Barber and Santonio Homes for them ………good call?????????????????

Most definitely!

I wanna get in that league if people are dumping quality talent like Cruz and Harvin.

It’s good for you, but a sh*tty situation for who you are playing. In our league, we lock eliminated players from adding/dropping/trading players to prevent this exact thing.

I agree. I believe my leagues do it too. I dunno tho its never happened. I’m just saying why would you drop Cruz and Harvin regardless of whether your still playing or not? Must not be a keeper league?

hi guys! thanks for all the advice! crucial championship week 16 decisions – been playing DST by WW this year w/ decent results.. in one league yards dont count, in the other they do.. how would you rank these options? Bengals (vs ARI), Titans (vs JAX), Redskins (vs MIN), Seahawks (vs 49ers) in both scenarios.. thanks!

I’m in the championship game this week (thanks in due part to your advice throughout the year!) and I’m concerned about the Jets on defense. I’ve had my eye on Tenn (vs. Jac), Wash (vs. Minn), and KC (vs. Oak). Which of those three do you think are the best? Or should I stick with the Jets this week?
Thanks!

Also, out of Ryan Mathews, Reggie Bush and Michael Bush, which two would you play this week?
