Here’s your non-football related post for the day. I’m sure most of our readers have heard about all the drama coming out of the Boston Red Sox camp…news about starting pitchers drinking beers and eating fried chicken during games in which they weren’t playing. The Boston Globe put together a slideshow to show the before and after pictures of the pitchers to show that their extracurricular activities were making them slightly out of shape (although it’s hard to tell for a couple of them.) Anyways,Deadspin poked some fun at the article and it’s pretty hilarious, so check it out!

Oh…and then Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez enjoyed some grilled chicken in the locker room 🙂

Speaking of the Pats, if Green-Ellis doesn’t play, do I start Ridley or Ernest Graham?

If Green-Ellis is out, go Ridley. The Patriots will be in the game a lot longer than the Bucs could be against the Saints (which means a lot of passing and not a lot of running!)

Oh…and don’t look now, but Boston is almost at .500! At 10-11, they’ve already crept up to third place in the division and are less than four games behind the Yankees. Go Red Sox!

And the Red Sox are now 0-6. Wow. Let’s hope the Yankees can provide some kind of inspiration to the hitters this weekend!
