According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Giants will play the Vikings in Detroit on Monday night, so get all of your players in the line-up as normal…especially since it’ll be an indoor game and not outdoors in the snow!

Yeah the metrodome caved in because of snow. The tickets to the game in Detroit are free to anyone who wants to go so if you live in the area make sure you grab a few.

Word has it there might be a future game in Cuse at the Carrier Dome, an hour from where I live. That’d be pretty sweet.

That’d be cool if the Vikings ended up like the Globetrotters and just played in random cities every week lol.

FINALLY!! The NFL has brought professional football to Detroit! Wonder if they will ever place a team here…

I’m hearing now that the New York Giants vs Minnesota Vikings game could be played on either Tuesday or Wednesday night and that the game could be held at either A) the University of Michigan stadium (outdoors), B) at the Detroit Lions stadium, or even C) in New Orleans! Either way, I’m assuming that the game WILL be played and that most fantasy football websites should include the scoring for week 14. I’ll keep posting as we hear more though…

You might seriously consider benching all of your Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants players today. As it’s the playoffs in most leagues and it’s a one-and-done situation, you might not even want to risk the drama with the Vikings’ stadium. Sadly, this means the benching of some key players:

    – Adrian Peterson
    – Eli Manning
    – Ahmad Bradshaw
    – Brandon Jacobs
    – Sidney Rice
    – Mario Manningham
    – Percy Harvin
    – Hakeem Nicks (if he was going to play)
    – Steve Smith (if he was going to play)
    – Visanthe Shiancoe
    – Kevin Boss
    – Brett Favre (alright, he’s probably not a key player to your fantasy team)

Hearing they might move it to Detroit? If AP doesn’t play, i lose.

I’m pretty sure they’ll get the game in somehow, so you’re probably safe to keep AP in your line-up. The game could be Tuesday or Wednesday though, so hopefully the fantasy football leagues handle it properly!

Any thoughts on whether Harvin will play or not? It’d be a big help for me if he didn’t…

Ask the Geeks: One week to go edition!

Atg ButtonWith under a week to go before the Titans play the Steelers on Thursday night football, here are a few questions we’ve received over the past few days:

Haseeb asks: In my league we can start up to 2 rb’s and another as a flex. I currently have Deangelo Williams, Joseph Addai, and Chris Johnson. I also have Jonathan Stewart on the bench. Do I start Stewart over Addai or Johnson? Or do I keep him on the bench? Thanks guys!

Guest Post: Week 10 Defense/Special Teams Fantasy Rankings

Editors’ note: The following post was written by our new guest blogger, Josh from Pro Football 101

    Must Starts:

1127132157 49241. Carolina Panthers vs. Oakland Raiders. After last week’s 77-yard output by the Oakland Raiders’ offense can there even be a discussion as to who is the top pick this week? Look for the Panthers to get a commanding lead early and then get after QB JaMarcus Russell. We see Carolina keeping Oakland to under 10 points and racking up a few sacks and turnovers in the process. Top Defensive play.

    2. Tennessee Titans vs. Chicago Bears. If Orton were playing, Tennessee wouldn’t be so high on our list, but with Grossman expected to line up behind center, the Titans are a very attractive pick this week. With the return of a healthy DE Vanden Bosch, we like Tennessee to get back to its pressure ways and force Rex Grossman, who is no stranger to mistakes, into a few turnovers and sacks. A very strong fantasy start. (More …)
