If you don’t want to spend a high draft pick on a big name tight end (Gates, Clark, etc) then feel free to snag either of the Patriots young tight ends later in the draft. Apparently red zone target Rob Gronkowski is lighting it up in camp and Aaron Hernandez should be even better than last season when he had a couple issues with injuries and dropped passes. I expect pretty big things out of the Patriots passing game this year, with so many options that defenses will have a hard time covering everyone.

So the addition of OchoCinco will not cut into these guys production this season? I just can not see both of these guys lighting it up like they did last year at this point.

I am sure New England will continue using with their 2-TE formation a lot, and rotate between these two and Ochocinco.

I guess Ochocinco could cut into some of Hernandez’s action, but these two guys are tough to cover and should get plenty of open looks. Gronk will get plenty of looks in the red zone no matter what receivers Brady has.

I’d rather poke needles in my eyes than stake my Fantasy Football championship on who gets the ball in the Belichick/Brady machine.

Hey Yahoo, just because Aaron Hernandez didn’t catch a pass, doesn’t mean he’s a kicker who specializes in 30-39 yarders!

    yahoo facebook fail

In case you were curious where this came from, I selected the option in my Yahoo fantasy league to link with Facebook so I could get updates on player scores there. I’ll probably disable it, as it’s just clogging up my Facebook stream right now, but I found this update a little interesting.

On another note, why didn’t Aaron Hernandez catch a pass…while Rob Gronkowski has three touchdowns on five receptions?!!!
